We’re delighted to see you head out into nature to hike, paddle, winter camp, ski, snowshoe, and other activities. Please read our liability policy carefully before participating in any event you learn about from this site, our mailing lists, or online groups.

1. Assumption of Risk

By participating in any activities organized by our group, you acknowledge that these activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Uneven terrain

• Weather conditions

• Wildlife encounters

• Water hazards

You agree to participate at your own risk.

2. No Liability

• Organizers and Leaders: The organizers and group leaders are not responsible for your safety. They do not guarantee that any activities will be free from risks or hazards.

• Group Members: All participants assume responsibility for their own safety and well-being. You are also responsible for the safety of any minors in your care.

3. Personal Responsibility

• Each participant is encouraged to assess their own abilities and limitations.

• You are responsible for wearing appropriate gear, following safety guidelines, and making decisions that prioritize your safety and that of others.

4. Release of Liability

By joining our activities, you release the organizers, group leaders, and fellow participants from any and all claims for injuries, damages, or losses that may arise from your participation.

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers, leaders, and fellow participants from any claims or damages that may arise from your actions during group activities.

6. Agreement

By participating in our activities, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this liability policy.
